Cave de Fleurie dates all the way back to the First World War, when the women of the village tended to the vines while the men were at the front line.

The spirit of cooperation between the women led to the formal creation of the cooperative in 1927. Today, the Cave has members across Beaujolais and produces excellent value for money wines.

The Cave de Fleurie growers are known for their deep commitment and respect to the traditions and methods of winemaking that have been passed on over the generations, from the cultivation of the vine, to the bottling of the wine. The subsequent skill and experience of the 280 team members, working 300ha of vines across 13 appellations, enable the maintained production of high-quality wines.
