This domaine takes its name from the Provençal 'Lou Mourre’, which means ‘little hill’.
The vineyard on this promontory has been grown for generations by the family owner of the estate. The vineyard benefits from ideal southern exposure for ripening, resulting in round, elegant and aromatic wines.
The terroir is mostly made up of sandy soils with round pebbles and the grape variety consists of 100% Grenache. Each grape is hand-picked at peak maturity, with fast transportation to the winery to avoid juice release and oxidation. The grapes are then destalked and fermented for 28 days in a controlled temperature.
